Unblocking flow, restoring vitality.

We utilize cupping therapy and gua sha to relieve muscle tension, improve circulation, and address imbalances such as colds, headaches, and chronic pain.

Cupping Therapy involves using suction to encourage the flow of qi and blood throughout the body. This technique:

  • Releases tension and adhesions as cups glide over tight muscle bands

  • Draws out stagnation and toxins through the skin

  • Supports respiratory health and alleviates symptoms of colds

  • Promotes deep relaxation and overall healing

Gua Sha employs a smooth-edged tool used in repetitive scraping motions across areas of tension. This practice:

  • Breaks up adhesions and knots in the muscles

  • Improves microcirculation and reduces inflammation

  • Provides effective relief for headaches, neck tension, and chronic muscle tightness

It is important to note that both Cupping and Gua Sha often leave temporary marks on the skin that may resemble bruises but are not painful. In Chinese medicine, we call this effect "sha". These marks, which can range from light red to deep purple, are a normal response and indicate the release of stagnation and toxins from the body.

  • Duration of Marks: Marks typically fade within 3-7 days, depending on individual circulation and the depth of stagnation.

  • Aftercare Tips: Stay hydrated, avoid intense physical activity, and keep the treated area warm to maximize benefits and support the healing process.

These marks are a sign that your body is responding positively to the treatment, helping you feel more balanced, relaxed, and rejuvenated!

With immediate relief from discomfort and long-term benefits like stress reduction and improved circulation, cupping therapy and gua sha are integral tools in restoring balance and vitality.
